The new 338,000 sf addition features a four story atrium, as well as a new Emergency & Trauma Department with 56 private treatment rooms, a new Heart Center with four open heart surgery rooms, 30 open heart surgery patient rooms, 56 universal heart patient / ICU rooms and 18 same-day heart patient rooms. Labor and Delivery rooms are included in the new Birth Center as well as a Level III NICU consisting of 25 private rooms.
